Ingredients
1 part vodka
0.5 part ginger liquor
0.75 part blood orange Juice
0.25 part simple Syrup
Method
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously, and strain into a rocks glass rimmed with sugar and filled with crushed ice.
Garnish with peeled blood orange skin made with a peeler and garnish stick. You can leave skin edges raw or cut them clean and sharp with a knife. I bought a small bag of dark red pears for about $3. I cut a slice in each one down the center that had the stem in it for visual appearance. Use a sharp knife.
